A 7-minute walk from Karatsu Castle, Mizuno Ryokan offers quiet Japanese-style rooms with stunning panoramic ocean views. It offers free Wi-Fi, free bicycles and a bath with a cypress bathtub (not a hot spring). Free parking is available on site.

Rooms have a relaxing interior with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows with a seating area overlooking the ocean. A flat-screen TV, refrigerator and private bathroom are included. Yukata are provided.

Guests at Ryokan Mizuno are greeted with complimentary green tea as they enter the gates of a four-century-old samurai residence.

Japanese meals are served for breakfast and dinner at the guests rooms, and feature local specialities like seafood and Saga vegetables.

Mizuno Ryokan is a mere 3-minute stroll from Karatsu Bay, and only a 10-minute walk from Hikiyama Exhibition Hall and Karatsu Jinja Shrine. The old pine forest of Nijinomatsubara is a 15-minute walk.
